Weathercock Inn

In the historic village of Woburn Sands, on the southeastern edge of Milton Keynes, South East, The Weathercock Inn stands as a major landmark for the local motorcycling community. The Weathercock Inn is arguably one of the most proactive “biker-friendly” pubs in Buckinghamshire, serving as a dedicated meeting point for riders across the region.

The pub is famously home to regular Wednesday Bike Meets, which draw a diverse crowd of enthusiasts. These events are inclusive and family-friendly, welcoming everything from vintage British classics to the latest superbikes. It is also a favoured destination for local chapters of the Harley Owners Group (HOG), who frequently use the venue for club nights and social gatherings.

What makes the Weathercock particularly suited to two wheels is its layout and infrastructure:

  • Exceptional Parking: The pub boasts a large, accessible car park that can easily accommodate dozens of motorcycles. This takes the stress out of group arrivals and ensures that pride and joy machines are parked safely off the main road.

  • Revamped Outdoor Space: The venue features a recently updated outdoor seating area and garden. This provides the perfect vantage point for riders to enjoy the “bike show” atmosphere of a meet while keeping their own bikes within sight.

  • A “Proper” Biker Menu: The food here is built for substantial appetites. It is particularly well-regarded for its massive Full English breakfasts, which many riders consider the best in the area for a pre-ride fuel-up. The rest of the menu leans into high-quality comfort food, including stacked burgers, steaks, and a popular selection of local real ales.

Under its current ownership, the Weathercock Inn has leaned heavily into its role as a community hub, regularly hosting live music and festivals that complement the vibrant, high-energy atmosphere of its bike nights. It’s a prime example of a pub that has become a “biker destination” through genuine passion and great service rather than just a convenient location.
