This iconic cafe, situated on the A5 in Potterspury, Northamptonshire, East Midlands, has been serving customers for over 70 years! Originally known as the Nelson Cafe, it was renamed the Super Sausage Cafe in the 1970s and quickly became a beloved roadside institution. In 2009, the Murray family (Gail, Chris, and Simon) took over, continuing its legacy of delicious food and friendly service.
Perfectly located between Milton Keynes and Towcester, and just minutes from Silverstone Circuit, the Super Sausage Cafe is a popular stop for both locals and visitors, especially during race weekends and events.
We have also become a favourite spot for motorcycle enthusiasts, with major brands like Suzuki, Aprilia, and Moto Guzzi hosting test rides and events throughout the year. Don’t miss the annual Suzuki classic motorcycle day in September!
At the heart of the our success is its commitment to quality. They use the freshest ingredients to create classic breakfast and lunch dishes, including their famous burgers made from scratch with hand-pressed steak. And with over 20 tons of bacon and sausages sold each year, the Super Sausage Cafe truly lives up to its name!
Whether you’re a regular, a racing fan, a biker passing through, or just looking for a delicious meal with friendly service, the Super Sausage Cafe offers a warm welcome and a taste of classic roadside diner culture. No reservations needed, just come on down and enjoy the experience!
