We are a small, friendly, husband and wife run/owned site, offering a rural retreat in spectacular and beautiful surroundings – peace, quiet and tranquillity.
A stay at Dolau Afon treats you to the morning bird song, the light of the glowing sunrise cascading up the valley wonderful night skies full of stars and far away galaxies, and an offering of wonderful walks that surround us (including the wonderful Hafod Estate).
The Ystwyth river snakes past the camping field, providing a tranquil and lovely spot where you can take a dip & wild swim in the pool under the bridge, or skim stones with the family. The Ystwyth valley has been known as ‘Little Switzerland’ for generations
