Located on a layby along the A40 at Llanspyddid, just outside Brecon, Wales, Delboys is a traditional roadside snack van that serves as a convenient stop for bikers heading towards the West Wales coast or the Mid-Wales mountain passes. It’s a simple, functional pitstop for those who want to pull over and grab a quick bite without leaving the main route.
The van is part of the Bike and Brew Passport scheme. This initiative is run by the charity Motorbiker Acts of Random Kindness (M.A.R.K.) to encourage riders to visit independent, biker-friendly spots. You can get your physical passport stamped here, which helps support the charity’s work while you’re out on a ride.
The setup is exactly what you’d expect from a roadside van: plenty of tarmac space to park the bike up easily and a straightforward menu. It’s best known for its hot tea and standard breakfast baps, providing a reliable refuel for riders tackling the nearby Brecon Beacons. It’s a handy, no-nonsense spot to have on your radar when you’re navigating the A40 and just need a ten-minute break.
